The Orchard at Altapass is at mile marker 328.3 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. From late spring through early fall local bands entertain visitors on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. For more information about the Orchard and directions click HERE to visit their website.

 

The bands play to an enthusiastic audience who dance, clog, and participate with foot stomping

 

One of the special events at the Altapass Orchard was a parade of pets all dressed up in costumes.
