| King David noted in the Psalms that a man's 'normal' life span is 70 years. Thus 13 years into ones 'second lifetime' translates to the year 83. This is a significant milestone in a man's life and some Jewish men have decided to have a second Bar Mitzvah at this time. Eli decided to join that group. |
