| In March, 2007, we went on a cruise on the
Norwegian Cruise ship, Majesty, sailing out of Charleston, South
Carolina. We had originally planned to just enjoy the dancing, the food,
and the warm weather, on the ship, as we sailed into the Caribbean. But,
prompted by a desire to see new places, we booked tours at two of the
ports where the ship docked. Never having been to Grand Cayman Island,
we took a simple bus tour of the highlights there. A more ambitious tour
took us to the mainland of Mexico to view the ancient site at Tulum
across the very windswept and choppy waters out of Cozumel. |

| These are not black rocks. They are the
remains of sea creatures from the distant past when this area of
the island was under water. They are somewhat like coral but
much softer and cannot be used for jewelry. The people of the
island call the area "Hell" and use it as a tourist attraction.
It is adorned with a carved statue representing the Devil and
there is an adjacent souvenir shop

the opportunity to take pictures.

| When the ship docked at Key West
we decided to stay aboard while most of the other
passengers disembarked for sightseeing. We had been to
Key West many times. There was only one other couple
besides us on the promenade deck as we carefully took
pictures of the famed Key West sunset. |
