Part 3 - SOME  OF  THE ANIMALS  WE  SAW  IN COSTA RICA

The iguanas liked to rest in the trees but we found one sunning himself outside a restaurant.

The Cayman on the left is sunning himself. The Crocodile on the right has been lured out of the water by the pilot of the boat and will soon grab and devour the chicken.

Jesus is holding a small lizard. Between his fingers is a poisonous green frog.

The Caterpillar is hiding in the leaves.

Jesus, our leader, took us into the rain forest and showed us the tiny animals that live there. The animal on the lower right is also a poisonous frog.

The little green lizard is called the "Jesus Christ Lizard" because it seems to walk on the water. It disappears quickly. Those are not spots on the tree on the right. They are tiny bats.

The monkey on the left shows us his face but the one on the right is hiding behind a tree.

This domesticated mother pig chose to feed her babies right in the middle of the road. Luckily the traffic was light.

We also saw Sloths and a Boa Constrictor but were not able to photograph them.
