| We love to watch the birds feed, as we eat on our glassed-in porch. |

In the wintertime the birds flock to our feeders. The cardinals and several other species of birds stay with us throughout the winter. |

The view of Grandfather Mountain from the back of our house is best in winter. |

| Our cabin is surrounded by rhododendron. We enjoy the blooms during the month of July. We also have flowers on our front terrace and back deck. |
